A Milestone in Our DGDP Enlistment

Al-Amin Traders has completed enlistment under all 12 DGDP licence categories — the broadest private sector enlistment available under Bangladesh's Directorate General of Defence Purchase framework. This builds on our existing supply relationships with the Bangladesh Ordnance Factory (BOF), Central Ordnance Depot (COD), Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), Naval Store Sub Depot (NSSD), and Essential Drugs Company Limited (EDCL).

What This Means for Our Partners

For the international manufacturers we represent, this means a single point of engagement now covers the full range of Bangladesh's government and defence procurement — military and ordnance support materials, naval and marine components, pharmaceutical raw materials, mega infrastructure projects, and industrial consultancy — rather than needing separate local partners for each category.

Practically, it also means faster turnaround when a new product doesn't fit neatly into one category: rather than declining an opportunity outside our previous scope, we can now evaluate fit and pursue tender opportunities across the full institutional landscape.

Looking Ahead

We're continuing to expand our network of certified international manufacturers across each of these categories. If your company is exploring Bangladesh's defence or government procurement market for the first time, this is a good moment to reach out — our guide to how DGDP procurement works is a useful starting point, and our team is available to assess fit against current tender activity.
